Salmonella Genome Databases

This site uses two linked databases powered by the BIGSdb genomics platform. The sequence definition database contains allele sequence and MLST profile definitions whereas the isolate database contains provenance and epidemiological information. Further details about BIGSdb can be found in Jolley & Maiden 2010, BMC Bioinformatics 11:595.

This database contains a subset of Salmonella genomes deposited in the rMLST genome database.

Please note that PubMLST is not the authoritative database for MLST, cgMLST, or wgMLST for this organism. We synchronize alleles and scheme definitions for these schemes from Enterobase. Submissions for allele and profile assignment need to be submitted to Enterobase - we cannot assign them.

Database curated by Madison Pearce.

Citing the database
