Streptococcus suis MLST Databases
This site uses two linked databases powered by the BIGSdb genomics platform. The sequence definition database contains allele sequence and MLST profile definitions whereas the isolate database contains provenance and epidemiological information. This MLST scheme was developed by Samantha King and Adrian Whatmore at the Univeristy of Warwick, UK. It is described in King et al. 2002 Development of a multilocus sequence typing scheme for Streptococcus suis: Identification of virulent clones and potential capsular serotype exchange.
