Streptococcus bovis/equinus complex (SBSEC) MLST Databases

This site uses two linked databases powered by the BIGSdb genomics platform. The sequence definition database contains allele sequence and MLST profile definitions whereas the isolate database contains provenance and epidemiological information. Further details about BIGSdb can be found in Jolley & Maiden 2010, BMC Bioinformatics 11:595.

Please note that we will be upgrading the operating system on the primary database server on Thursday 22 November. Access to the databases will be maintained from a backup server, but offline jobs and access to the automated submission system will be disabled while the work is carried out.

This scheme has been developed by Christoph Jans and colleagues at the Laboratory of Food Biotechnology, Institute of Food, Nutrition and Health, Zürich, Switzerland. It is described in Jans et al. 2016 BMC Microbiol 16:117.
