Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale MLST Databases

This site uses two linked databases powered by the BIGSdb genomics platform. The sequence definition database contains allele sequence and MLST profile definitions whereas the isolate database contains provenance and epidemiological information. Further details about BIGSdb can be found in Jolley & Maiden 2010, BMC Bioinformatics 11:595.

The Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale MLST scheme was developed by Susann Thieme and colleagues at the Institute of Poultry Diseases at the Freie Universitšt Berlin, Germany. It is described in Thieme et al. 2016. Molecular Characterization of the Recently Emerged Poultry Pathogen Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale by Multilocus Sequence Typing, PLOS One 11(2):e0148158.

Database curated by Susann Thieme.

Citing the database
