This database is for the Klebisella oxytoca species complex, consisting of K. oxytoca and the related species K. michiganensis, K. grimontii, K. pasteurii, K. huaxiensis, and K. spallanzanii.

The MLST scheme was developed by kathrin.herzoguni-graz.at (Kathrin Herzog) and colleagues at the Medical University of Graz, Austria. It is described in Herzog et al. 2014 J Clin Microbiol 52: 1607-16.
