Cronobacter MLST Databases

This site uses two linked databases powered by the BIGSdb genomics platform. The sequence definition database contains allele sequence and MLST profile definitions whereas the isolate database contains provenance and epidemiological information. Further details about BIGSdb can be found in Jolley & Maiden 2010, BMC Bioinformatics 11:595.

Please note that we will be upgrading the operating system on the primary database server on Thursday 22 November. Access to the databases will be maintained from a backup server, but offline jobs and access to the automated submission system will be disabled while the work is carried out.

This MLST scheme was developed by Adam Baldwin (Warwick University, UK) in close collaboration with Stephen Forsythe (Nottingham Trent University, UK).

Database curated by Stephen Forsythe.

Citing the database

The preferred format for citing this website in publications is:

This publication made use of the Cronobacter Multi Locus Sequence Typing website (https://pubmlst.org/ cronobacter/) developed by Keith Jolley and sited at the University of Oxford (Jolley et al. Wellcome Open Res 2018, 3:124 [version 1; referees: 2 approved]). The development of this site has been funded by the Wellcome Trust.
