The C. glabrata database is currently curated by obaderatgwdg.de (Oliver Bader) (Institute of Medical Microbiology and Virology, University Medical Center Göttingen, Göttingen, Germany).

We have had to make several nomenclature changes to previously assigned STs and some STs arbitrarily assigned by authors themselves (see timeline of changes). Please submit novel alleles, STs , and corresponding isolate records to the database prior to manuscript submission so that nomenclature conflicts can be avoided.

The typing database contains nomenclature - allele definitions that provide an identifier for every unique allele sequence, and MLST profiles that index each unique combination of alleles with a sequence type (ST).
