Pasteurella multocida MLST Databases
There are currently two Pasteurella multocida schemes. For each scheme the MLST website contains two linked databases - one for allelic profiles and sequences, the other for isolate information. This structure offers advantages over a single database system. Further details can be found here.

Schemes
- Multiple host MLST
- This scheme covers isolates from various hosts, including cattle, sheep, pigs and birds. It was developed to investigate evolutionary relationships of isolates from different host species.
- Developed by Robert Davies (University of Glasgow, UK).
- RIRDC MLST
- This scheme was developed initially to investigate avian isolates.
- Developed by Sounthi Subaaharan and Pat Blackall (Animal Research Institute, Australia). Original funding was provided by the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC)
