Submission of new variant sequences - Neisseria NadA sequences

New variant sequences submitted to us will be available through this website.  In order that queries and requests for strains can be addressed to the submitter of the data, the name and affiliation of the submitter will be displayed on the website.  E-mail addresses are not displayed but can be requested from the curator.  Please contact the curator or database manager if you do not wish your details to be displayed.

This is a curated database and in order to be confident in the assignment of new variants we require sequence trace files (electropherograms).  Please send new variable region nucleotide sequences to the curator as E-mail attachments.  Both forward and reverse trace files are required to assign new variants.  It would be helpful if you could provide as much information as possible about the isolate the sequence comes from and also, where appropriate, GenBank or PubMed accession numbers.
