1rpoB sequence analysisAnalysis of rpoB sequences correlated with rifampicin resistance published in Taha et al. 2010 Antimicrob Agents Chemother 54:3651-8. 355
2107 global collectionThis dataset was originally used to validate MLST and was chosen to represent global diversity of N. meningitidis in the latter half of the Twentieth Century. It has been used in many publications since and the isolates are available as the EMGM MLST reference collection.108
3MRF Meningococcus Genome Library
MRF

The MRF Meningococcus Genome Library is a collaboration between Public Health England, the Scottish Haemophilus, Legionella, Meningococcus and Pneumococcus Reference (SHLMPR) Laboratory, The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and the University of Oxford, funded by the Meningitis Research Foundation.

Use of the MRF Genome Library data must be cited in any publication or presentation making use of it.

11Irish Meningococcus Genome Library
Temple Street Children's HospitalUniversity of Oxford

The Irish Meningococcus Genome Library is a collaboration between the University of Oxford and the Epidemiology and Molecular Biology Unit and the Irish Meningitis and Meningococcal Reference Laboratory at Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Dublin. It is a collection of Irish meningococcal disease isolate genomes from the epidemiological years 2010/2011 to 2013/2014.

139IRIS (Nm)IRIS collects data about the strains causing infections caused by Neisseria meningitidis in real time. Participating reference laboratories are requested to submit details of all isolates causing disease enabling data to be shared for comparison.1203
