The Escherichia PubMLST database exists to host project data and to facilitate the use of BIGSdb analysis tools for data belonging to this organism. We are not the authoritative server for assigning MLST, cgMLST, or wgMLST definitions for this organism. We synchronize these assignments from Enterobase and all new allele and profile definitions need to be submitted there.
