Multi Locus Sequence Typing of Campylobacter

An MLST system has been developed in the laboratory of Dr. Martin Maiden, Peter Medawar Building for Pathogen Research, University of Oxford, in collaboration with Prof. F. J. Bolton and Prof. A. Fox of the Public Health Laboratory Service.

Preliminary findings and methods have been published.

This project is funded by the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).

We are planning to develop an integrated system together with several other interested groups in the UK and elsewhere.
