Bacillus cereus MLST News and Updates

28/06/2006 The glp locus has been shortened by 9 nucleotides at the 5' end due to the presence of an insertion sequence in this region. This has resulted in four STs being slightly redefined to avoid including duplicate glp alleles, as removing these nucleotides resulted in two pairs of alleles being identical. STs 8, 44, 157 and 159 have been redefined at the glp locus.
09/07/2004 The database has been restructured, with new fields added.
Maggie Barker has been appointed as the new database curator.
04/07/2004 Website layout integrated into the pubmlst.org style.
01/04/2004 Until a permanent curator is appointed, Keith Jolley will fill the role.
